Fingallians Club Notes

There were wins this weekend for the U-10A, U-11, U-12A, U-12B, Senior and Junior 7 footballers. The Junior 4 hurlers started the league with a deserved win against Lucan, with five of their squad missing, playing with Fingal hurlers. Finally, the U-9A and U-9Bs drew.
Registration for this year’s Easter camp will take place this Friday, March 26 from 7pm to 9pm at the clubhouse. The camp takes place from Monday, March 29 to Thursday, April 1.
This is the last chance for members to vote on the Club Person of the Year. Please email or send your nomination in writing to the club secretary.
Any new members who require their membership card, can request it by emailing or contact the club any morning from 9.30am to 12.30pm to arrange collection.

Dirty Dozen Charity Gala Night is being held on Easter Sunday 4th April @ 7.30pm in Kettles Country House in aid of Chernobyl Childrens Project International and Wild Geese Gaa Club. On the night “Alternative Rose of Fingal” drag comp and final results of

St Finian’s Club Notes

Easter raffle tickets are available from committee members and mentors at €5 each. €300 first prize.
The club tea party is being held on April 17 at 8pm in the Community Centre.
The cost is €10 per person and each table has to organise their own food. The table members can bring their own wine.
There will be a DJ for after-dinner entertainment and the event organisers of this great club social night are looking for new teams and parents to support the event.
Many thanks to all of those that have paid their membership fees but there are still a significant number of players that have not paid their membership.
Non-payment of membership could result in issues with insurance and therefore player eligibility.
Lotto: Jackpot of €5,000 was not won.
Numbers drawn were 4, 13, 16 and 17.
€50 winners were Ammy Olive and Olive Twomey.
Next week’s jackpot is €5,100.

Fingal Ravens Club Notes

Minors had two good league wins over the weekend, Clontarf on Friday evening and at home to Castleknock on Sunday. The third team drew with St Margaret’s in the cup.
Next Sunday all adult teams have league games: Div 1 Vs St Vincent’s away at 10.30am, Div 5 play Clontarf in St Anne’s Park. at 12pm and Div 11 play St Monica’s at home at 3pm..

The club would like to send our condolences to Mary McCarthy and her family on the recent death of her father.
All 2010 membership must be paid now, no exceptions.

St Sylvester’s Club Notes

We had two great wins for the adult hurlers in their opening league games of the season.  The intermediates withstood a second-half comeback from Kevin’s and secured the win with a late goal, while the juniors had a fine win at home to Crumlin.
Congratulations to the Dublin U-21 footballers on reaching the Leinster U-21 final in Parnell Park on Easter Sunday.
Many thanks to the Adult Games Committee for the adult medal presentation held in the Club last Tuesday, March 16. It was a great night of celebration.
The Under-16 hurlers lost out to Whitehall in a very entertaining and competitive match in Bridgefield on Saturday. The Under-15s won away to St Mark’s to record consecutive wins in their opening games.
The U-14 hurlers lost away to a physically stronger Finbar’s in their match. The U-12 football team continued on their winning ways with a big win over Castleknock in their final group game, with nine players contributing scores.
The Easter camp will be held from April 6 to April 8.

St Peregrine’s Club Notes

Our senior hurlers had an exciting draw with St Finbarrs this weekend.
There was no winner of the €2,800 jackpot in the club lotto, next week’s jackpot is €3,000.
Players are reminded that memberships are now due. Players who do not pay their membership will be excluded from playing for their teams.
Come eat in the club! All carvery dinners will be buy one, get one half price.

cost to yourself.
The club is looking for mentors for its growing nursery.

Tyrrelstown Club Notes

Training for the nursery, U-8s, U-9s and U-10s continues every Saturday from 10am until 11.30am at the Belgree pitch.
Nursery training in Mulhuddart Community Hall is every Monday from 6pm to 7pm.
Training for U-8s, U-9s and U-10s on Thursdays in Mulhuddart Community Hall from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
