Stars Of Erin Club Notes

There were no games last weekend for any of the teams. Training for the adult team is on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Glenculen at 6.30pm. New players are always welcome.
There is a juvenile draw on June 6 in The Stepp Inn; tickets are €10, and are available now; please see club members for more information.
Weekly draw every Sunday in the Stepp Inn, all support welcome.
Results for weekly draw: 1st – Rosa Roe, 2nd – Lily McNulty, 3rd – John Walsh.
Last week the adult team had a great win over St John’s. Good performance from Conor O’Sullivan, Mark Fitz, and David Gill. U-8s and U-10s lost on Saturday.

Naomh Olaf Club Notes

There was no winner of the lotto jackpot last week. The numbers drawn were 1, 4 and 31. Next week’s lotto is worth €1,200.
The 5 x €30 winners were Donal MacMahuna c/o Club, D Roe c/o A Kyne Delaney, Mark Ward c/o Club, Sinead Cassidy c/o online and Alan Cunningham c/o Gerry McGrath. The bonus prize was won by Mags Fagan c/o Keith Begley.
Next Saturday night at home our senior hurlers play Naomh Fionnbarra in the league and the same opposition play our junior hurlers next Sunday morning, also at home.
A weekend away, compliments of the Tower Hotel Group in Waterford, including golf, is one of the many prizes on offer in Naomh Olaf’s fundraising golf day will be held on May 21 in Edmonstown Golf Club.
The competition is a singles stableford and the cost is €100 per person. You can sponsor a hole for €75. Included in the €100 is a steak dinner, and there will be lots of other great prizes to be won on the day.

Round Towers Club Notes

The senior footballers beat St Brigid’s in the league.
Congratulations to Matthew McLoughlin, Shane Scapaticci and Darren Gilligan who all represented the victorious South Dublin team in the Dublin U-12 Kevin Aherne tournament.
Junior bingo and games is on in the club this Friday from 7 to 9pm for nursery age to nine, and then Morning after Phil plays from 9.30pm to 11.30pm for 15-year-olds and up. For more details see http://www.roundtower.ie.

St Pat’s Palmerstown Club Notes

Our senior hurlers are away in the league to Naomh Barróg this Saturday at 6pm, while the juniors are at home this Sunday, also against Naomh Barróg at 3pm.
The minor footballers are away in a league fixture this Sunday to Clanna Gael at 11am.
The Easter camp continues until this Friday, April 9. You can still join in the fun by contacting coach Paul on 087 6613104 or Maree on 085 1639489 for a spot.
The club shop is not open this week, but will re-open on Wednesday, April 14.
There will be a name and shame list of those who have not paid their membership yet will be on show around the clubhouse this week. To avoid this, please ensure you pay up now.

Congratulations to junior footballer Padraic Farren on his marrige to Orla O’Keefe in NY last week.
Congratulations to the Dubs’ U-21 footballers and to St Pat’s man Jonathan McDermott on their victory over Westmeath on Sunday last in the Leinster final.
Lotto no’s drawn were 5, 9, 23 and 25. There was no winner of the €3,400 jackpot.
Match any three numbers winners were A Cox, Shiela Cuffe, Dee O’Callaghan, and each receive €70.
Next week’s jackpot is €3,600. The draw takes place each Sunday night at 10pm in the Palmerstown House.

Lucan Sarsfields Club Notes

Well done to David Quinn on helping Dublin win the Leinster U-21 title.
Hard luck to Dublin hurlers Johnny McCaffrey and Peter Kelly in the side’s loss to Galway.
Good luck to the senior hurlers in defending their Kevin’s tournament title this weekend.
The next monthly quiz is on April 14 to be supported by juvenile camogie.
Membership subscriptions are now overdue for 2010. No pay, no play strictly enforced this year as players not insured. Mentors asked to submit match reports for website to lucansarsfieldspro@gmail.com.

Know your sport quiz for charity is on Wednesday, April 21.
Nurseries are on every Saturday for five-year-olds and upwards from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

St Peregrine’s Club Notes

There was one winner of the €3,200 jackpot in the club lotto. Eamon Healy’s winning numbers were 3, 5, 7 and 9. Next week’s jackpot is €2,000.

St Oliver Plunkett’s Club Notes

Thanks to all who helped make our Annual Feile Race Night a great success.
There will be a Social Night Table Quiz in aid of our junior C footballers in the clubhouse this Thursday, April 8 from 8.30pm. All support greatly appreciated.
Congratulations to Seán McGuinness and the Dublin Under-21 footballers on their Leinster final triumph over Westmeath.
Best of luck to our junior B and C footballers in their respective cup quarter-finals this weekend and to our senior camogie in their first senior league game in Martin Savage Park this week. All support greatly appreciated.
As part of the club’s 50th anniversary celebrations, all members are invited to attend a special recording of the famous RTE Radio program, Céilí House, in the clubhouse on Monday, April 19 at 7.30pm.
Also, as part of the club’s celebrations, the opening of the clubhouse museum will take place on Wednesday, April 21 at 8pm.
