Castleknock Club Notes

It’s time to start getting our Scór na nÓg teams together.  Scór is the GAA’s talent competition and comprises eight categories – céilí dancing, solo singing, trad music, recitation, ballad group, question time, novelty act and set dancing. If your talents lie in any of these areas and you’d like to take part contact Barbara O’Neill at 086 3782419 or barbaraoneill@eircom.net.
Well done to our U-9s and 10s who hosted Ballinastraw Gaels from Co Wexford and to all who helped provide a great example of Castleknock hospitality to our visitors from the Model County.
All our teams are back training and new players of all ages are very welcome to give Castleknock GAA a go.
For appropriate contact details just contact our club coach Brendan on 085 132 9397 or check http://www.castleknock.net.
If you have some information for the weekly club notes just contact Dave on 087 2559559 on Sunday evenings.
Well done to Fr Mick from Laurel Lodge who raised over €10,000 by his trek for the Hospice.
Knitters are required to knit in aid of the Hospice, just contact Maeve on 087 202 9622 for details.
Club lotto stands at €3,800 with this week’s draw in The Bell.
