St Peregrine’s Club Notes

Commiserations to the senior footballers who were unable to get past UCD this year to the next round of the championship.
Meanwhile, the minor hurlers face a replay after their drawn match.
The club wishes to communicate important notices and events to members through the use of SMS web text to mobile phones.  We ask all members to supply their names and mobile phone numbers via email to pro@cnp.ie to avail of this service.
The lottery jackpot was not won. Numbers drawn were 6, 7, 12 and 28. Next week’s jackpot is €5,400.
Details of a major club fundraising night at the dogs on Saturday, October 30 are being circulated.
So far there has been a great interest shown and we urge all teams, mentors, players and members to become active and involved in this fundraiser intended to the benefit of maintenance of all club facilities.
Karen’s Kitchen caters on Saturday with curry specials and carvery on Sunday.

St Peregrine’s Club Notes

Best wishes go to Emma Travers and Louise Kidd and the Dublin ladies’ footballers in the All-Ireland championship semi-final versus Laois.
Support our senior footballers in their championship match v Whitehall this Friday in Parnell Park, throw-in at 6.45pm.  Advanced coaching sessions in football and hurling skills take place up to September 8 for boys and girls from U-13 to U-16.  Each session lasts 90 minutes.  Contact your team mentor for details.
Mini-parish leagues are in action each evening this week. Finals are on Sunday.

This Saturday sees a feast of hurling with an U-11 blitz and a Leinster U-12s tournament. Volunteers are asked to help out on the day to ensure a successful day of sport.

Dakota 5 entertain in the clubhouse this Saturday.

St Peregrine’s Club Notes

Our VHI Cúl Camp for children under eight years old takes place July 19 to 22, from 10.30am to 12.30pm daily at €30 each with a reduction of €5 for each subsequent child in a family.
Each participant receives a camp kit, including a jersey and shorts. Contact Aileen Boyd at 087-9458285.
Summer camps for children from six to 12 years take place on July 13 to 15 and from August 17 to 19 from 10am to 2pm each day.
Cost is €40 each with a reduction of €10 for each subsequent child in the one family.
Each participant receives a €15 discount voucher for the club shop.

There was one winner of the €3,200 jackpot in the club lotto. Eamon Healy’s winning numbers were 3, 5, 7 and 9. Next week’s jackpot is €2,000.
Senior mens’ player Thomas Reilly is raising funds for the Niall Mellon Township by taking part in a charity skydive. There was no winner of the €2,400 jackpot in the club lotto. Numbers drawn were 4, 8,16 and 22. Next week’s jackpot is €2,600.
The annual juvenile sponsored walk will take place on March 17, and we ask all in the community to support the club’s juvenile section.
Due to demand, there will be an additional quiz in aid of the juvenile section in the clubhouse on Thursday, March 11 at 9pm. Tables of four cost €20.
