Westmanstown Gaels Club Notes

UNDER-8s hosted St Mark’s in the Go Games match and won.
Under-15 girls played St James’ Gaels at home and won. Well done to both teams.
Training for all teams continues at the usual times.
Nursery every Saturday morning at 10am sharp, and is open to boys and girls from five years.
New members for all teams are always welcome
As part of the Lucan Festival we are holding a Ceili in Westmanstown Sports Centre at 8pm on Saturday, September 1, all welcome. Tickets available from coaches or payable on the night, and for more info on this event or the club, visit http://www.westmanstowngaels.ie.

Westmanstown Gaels Club Notes

WELL done to everybody who took part in the Family and Sports day in Westmanstown on Saturday.
A well-attended event was finished off with a challenge match between the parents and coaches of the juvenile section against the Garda team.
A special award was presented to George Kyne and Grace O’Boyle for their hard work on starting the club over five years ago.
Summer Camp starts July 5 at 10am in the GAA grounds of Westmanstown  register on the day or download the forms from http://www.westmanstowngaels.ie
Some teams will be training or playing challenge matches throughout the summer, ask your mentor for details, the nursery is taking its summer break.

Westmanstown Club Notes

THE U-8s lost out to Kilmacud Crokes, U-9s had a good game against Good Counsel, U-10s played host to Ballinteer St John’s,
The U-11s beat a very good visiting Round Towers team. The U-13s had a friendly against Lucan Sarsfields and won
The nursery continues every Saturday at 10am. Training for all other teams at the usual time.
Easter GAA games camp starts April 6 and runs to April 9, €50 per child , starts @ 10am every morning , and you do not have to be member to take part.

Westmanstown Gaels Club Notes

THE U-8s played away and had a convincing win over Templeogue Synge Street. The U-10s lost out to Geraldines Morans of Foxrock. The U-11s won against Ballinteer away, well done to all the teams.
Training continues at the usual times for all teams. The nursery sessions are held in Crunch Fitness every Saturday at 10am; children from five to seven are welcome.
All members are asked to attend the Lucan St Patrick’s Parade, the coaches will have more details.
Look out for details of the Easter GAA games camp on the notice broad.

Many thanks to Adamstown G.A.A for the challenge match with our U-8’s team over the weekend.

U-13’s won their last match in the grading league against St Patricks of Palmerstown at home, league placings will be known early next week.

Training continues at the usual times for all teams.

Club gear is available every Saturday morning from Ciara.

Membership fees are due now please return to coach or ANT committee member.

We would ask all car drivers to observe the new car park layout and to slow down.

Westmanstown Gaels Club Notes

The U-12s lost against Good Counsel away in the grading league.
The U-13s game was postponed and will be played at a later date.
Training continues on Wednesdays and Saturdays as normal.
Nursery section takes place every Saturday in Crunch Fitness Hall at 10am. This is open to boys and girls from the age of five to seven years.
Hurling is every Saturday on the all-weather pitch in the GAA Grounds
The club shop is open every Saturday morning.
Membership fees are now due so please return asap to your coaches.
The club is always open to new members so why not come up on Saturday mornings to the GAA Grounds and see the great facilities and meet new friends in a safe environment.

Westmanstown Club Notes

Westmanstown Gaels is continually seeking to attract new members whether they have previously played Gaelic Games or not. The club already has a number of new-Irish and would like to see further participation right across the community in order that its facilities can be fully utilised.
To join us, simply call up to training any Saturday morning 10:00 to 11:30, any Wednesday evening 18:30 to 19:30.
