St Pat’s Palmerstown Club Notes

in juvenile football, our Under-8s, 9s and 10s played Lucan Sarsfields, St James’ Gaels and Cuala, while 11s two team won one and lost one against Naomh Olaf and 12s beat Lucan Sarsfields.
Big hurling championship matches this weekend with seniors at home to Kilmacud Crokes on Saturday at 5.45pm and juniors at home on Sunday in quarter-final against Raheny at 10.30am on Sunday, while minor footballers were away in championship to St Brigid’s at 10.30am.
Club shop now open on Wednesdays from 6pm to 7.30pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 11.30am
St Pats have now reached the last five in the competion for the Nivea for Men final which takes in Glenaulin on Thursday, September 23 at 6.30. Please support your club.
Senior executive meeting takes this Thursday in clubhouse at 8.30pm

St Pat’s Palmerstown Club Notes

THE junior hurlers have now completed their round robin E championship winning all five games following their mid-week victory over Wild Geese, and have now qualified for the semi-final.
Junior footballers play a championship quarter-final against St. Patricks (D) on Sunday morning at home at 10.30am.
Well done to our Under-11s hurlers who put up a fine performance in the camaint finals at Parnell Park on Saturday last.
Third and final Summer camp continues this week until Friday. You can still join in the fun, just turn up at clubhouse @ 9.45am or call coach Paul @ 087 6613104.

St Pat’s Palmerstown Club Notes

CLUB shop open this Wednesday 6 to 7.15pm and will then close until July 3.
There are some tickets available for only €15 for our fundraiser this Friday at the Harold’s Cross dogs. To purchase phone Jimmy on 0877791352 or Robbie on 0879336318. Those going please note busses leave at  7pm from the Palmerstown House.

St Pat’s Palmerstown Club Notes

Our senior hurlers are away in the league to Naomh Barróg this Saturday at 6pm, while the juniors are at home this Sunday, also against Naomh Barróg at 3pm.
The minor footballers are away in a league fixture this Sunday to Clanna Gael at 11am.
The Easter camp continues until this Friday, April 9. You can still join in the fun by contacting coach Paul on 087 6613104 or Maree on 085 1639489 for a spot.
The club shop is not open this week, but will re-open on Wednesday, April 14.
There will be a name and shame list of those who have not paid their membership yet will be on show around the clubhouse this week. To avoid this, please ensure you pay up now.
Our thanks to all players and mentors who helped out last weekend with our bag pack in Supervalu.
Congratulations to junior footballer Padraic Farren on his marrige to Orla O’Keefe in NY last week.
Congratulations to the Dubs’ U-21 footballers and to St Pat’s man Jonathan McDermott on their victory over Westmeath on Sunday last in the Leinster final.

St Pat’s Palmerstown Club Notes

Both senior and junior hurlers got their leagues off to good start when they beat Raheny and Civil Service, while minor footballers drew in their first league match against St Finbarr’s. Senior camogie ladies had a fine win over Good Counsel in a friendly.
In juvenile football, the U-8s played Clanna Gael with U-9s playing Ballyfermot DLS and U-10s played Cabinteely. The U-11s had a good win against Ballyboden St Enda’s, while the U-12s lost to Ballyboden. The U-14s hurlers lost to Bray Emmet’s.
Next Sunday, the senior footballers are away in the league to Skerries Harps at 10.30am while the juniors are away to Erin Go Bragh at 12pm.
The juvenile committee meet this Thursday at 8.30pm.
Subscriptions are now long overdue so we would ask those who have not paid to do so at once.

Congratulations and well done to our U-21 hurlers who lifted the C hurling championship on Monday night last when they beat a good Parnell’s outfit after extra time on a bitterly cold night in Balgriffin.
Our sincere thanks to the large number of supporters who turned out to cheer on the lads.
In juvenile hurling, our U-8, U-9 and U-10s played at home against St Anne’s, Dubh Gall and Cuala, while the U-11s travelled to play O’Toole’s. U-14 and U-15 footballers lost to Good Counsel and St Peregrine’s.
Senior hurlers commence their new season with a home league fixture against Raheny at 11am on Sunday, while junior’s travel to Island Bridge to play Civil Service at 2pm.

This year’s Easter camp, which covers football, hurling and camogie takes place in Glenaulin Park from April 6 to 9.

St Pat’s Palmerstown Club Notes

IN juvenile football, there were wins for the U-10s and 11s over Liffey Gaels and Whitehall CC, but there were losses for the U-8s, 9s and 12s to Kilmacud Crokes, Good Counsel and Kilmacud Crokes. The U-14s hurlers lost to Good Counsel.
The senior footballers are at home in the league on March 14 to St Peregrine’s at 10.30am, while the junior footballers are also at home in league to Ballyboden St Enda’s at 12pm.
The juvenile camogie blitz was a big success, thanks to GPO Paul and Donal Ryan and his back-up team.
Dinner dance and presentation night in the Louis Fitzgerald hotel was a big success on Friday last.
Our thanks to Dublin County secretary John Costello, also club sponsors Luke Moriarty, Louis Fitzgerald and Henry Carthy for their attendance on the night and our sincere thanks to all who supported the night.
To the members out there who still have not paid their subscription — would you please do so at once please. Subs can be paid to treasurer Fergus Scully or any member of the executive.
