Malahide United’s U-14s line out in cross-border contest

Malahide United’s Under-14 side are to be involved in the first-ever cross-border schoolboy club football tournament which
takes place in Dublin on Sunday, August 22.
The Rocara Festival of Champions 2009 will see schoolboy club champions from the North Dublin Schoolboys and Girls League
(NDSL) pitted against their winning counterparts from the Northern Ireland Boy’s Football Association (NIBFA).
The tournament, which will feature matches between winning clubs in four age categories, will be held at the Oscar Traynor
Coaching and Development Centre, Coolock, Dublin 17, with the first kick-off at 12 noon, and Malahide UNited are set to take
on Linfield at 2pm.
The organisers invite anyone interested to come along to what will be a great family day out.

Malahide United trials next week

Malahide United will host a series of trials at Gannon Park on the Coast Road next week.

The U-9s up to the U-12 age group have their trials set for Wednesday, July 1 and Friday, July 3 from 7pm to 8.30pm, while the U-13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 sides will be in action on Saturday July 4 from 10am to 12pm and again on Monday, July 6 from 7pm to 8.30pm.

Malahide Girls’ Soccer Academy Announced

Malahide United have announced the details of their girls’ summer soccer academy.

All  players from Under-8 to Under-15 are invited to take part in the camp that takes place in Gannon Park from Thursday, June 18. The academy runs every Thursday evening for six weeks from 7pm to 8.30pm.

All players will receive Academy Training Packs, which will include full training kit, bottle & bag. The cost of the academy is €60 and registration nights will be held in Gannon Park on June 2 and 4, between 7 and 9pm.
