Run to Africa from Malahide and Lucan

On September 13, the charity Playing for Life (www.playingforlife.ie) is giving individuals and clubs  the opportunity to raise funds for their own sporting organisation, while at the same time supporting PFL’s Run to Africa initiative.

Playing for Life works in Tanzania, Malawi, and Kenya by providing facilities for the development of vocational education and training, community development, and a health awareness programme for children and young adults through sports and sporting activities.

As part of Run to Africa, there will be a 5km charity run in the grounds of Malahide Castle on September 13, and an 8km run in Lucan Sarsfields on September 27.

To find out more on how to get involved, go to www.runtoafrica.org.
