Well done to Emma Travers and Louise Kidd who played at the highest level with Dublin in the Ladies Football All-Ireland Final. Although the team was unlucky to be beaten by a heartbreaking narrowest of margins, we are immensely proud of our representatives’ achievements and the status accorded to the club as a result.
Hearty congratulations to the Under 15 hurlers who won the Division 2 title as they look forward to top flight hurling next year, for the first time in the club’s history. Well done to manager John Larkin and coach Dave Foley and all who helped in the team’s affairs.
The lottery jackpot was not won. Numbers drawn were 1, 17, 24 and 27. Next week’s jackpot is €10,000.
Tickets are still available for the club night with the Drifters on November 27, available at €40 each, inclusive of a meal. Tickets are going fast and with numbers limited an early booking is recommended to secure a place.
