Well done to the U-15 hurlers who beat Round Towers in the D Shield Final in Rivervalley Park. The match was a good close contest in the first half, with Round Towers leading at half time. However, Finian’s took control of the game in the second half and with an impressive display and put some great scores on the board. Round Towers rallied in the last few minutes scoring two late goals, but St Finian’s were too strong overall, and deservedly came out on top. Great performances all round – congratulations everyone!
